John,
My recommendation to be conservative is to prevent people from eating the big blue fence that surrounds Watkins Glen! I'd rather see people start off conservative and move to a more loose setting.
As for stiff/stiff, I have not tried this setting with my 275/275 Yokos. I prefer the car to have a little roll...it's easier for me to feel the weight transfer, and I'm more confident as a result. I think I may have tried that setting once years ago with my old S-Tune setup, but I can't remember. I have tried front Med, and rear Stiff on this suspension...which definitely tends towards oversteer, but it's still manageable. It would probably be a good setting for autoX or a really tight road course (Streets of Willow). I actually had this setting by accident at Buttonwillow! I set my rear bar at home, thinking I had put it to full soft...when if fact I put it to full stiff...doh! My excuse is that it was late at night and I was tired. Anyway, I didn't realize I had done that until the event was over. I felt pretty stupid, but it was a good learning experience.
What LSD are you getting John?

Hi guys, sorry I haven't had a chance to do a full writeup. I've been too busy these days and I want to take the time to say everything. I've tracked them twice now and am still working out a couple of details. Stay tuned for my full writeup next week.
Cliff notes, I dropped about 4 seconds from my lap times over the stock shocks and expect to drop another 2 when I dial it in. I'm very pleased so far. More to come..

Ok I'll try this again. Here are some shots of my install at unitech. The last picture shows just over an inch drop. I will be raising it up a bit because I can't clear the speedbumps at my office

I'll be brief...I'm tired!
Jack and I got ours on today with no instructions. Neither of us are happy with our current ride heights. Jack's is a bit too low in front, and compensating for his result, I ended up too high in front...... I'll get up early and re-adjust....I hope. Took pix, but I'll wait till after the Glen to post.
Sure wish Unitech was in OUR backyard!

I got up early, and after about 2 1/2 hours making something like 6 adjustments to the front ride height, I GOT THAT SUCKER SLAMMED TO THE WEEDS!
OK, not quite, but with my small OD tires, I'm at 25 1/2" front, & 26" rear. Hey, I gotta start somewhere! Got an alignment too. Wasn't too far off.
Ride is surprisingly comfortable. I left the shocks at 6 & 6 as delivered.
So, I be ready for the drive!

That's hot yo...slam that shizzle my nizzle!
Yep...I was shocked how comfortable the ride quality was at even the 6/6 setting. Drop the shocks down to 1's and 2's and you'll think you're in a Caddy!
