Default Axis Hiros- Where can they be found???

Looks like Axis is phasing out the Hiro model. I've looked all over the web for 18" Hiros, but no dice. Does anybody know of a place that may have them?

Phasing out? It's a new wheel.

The only width they sell in the 18" size is the 8.5". Most places probably don't stock it for the Z becasue 99% of people buying wheels want a staggered set up.

3 places said it was being replaced by a new wheel. I kid you not. I looked everywhere....even speedracerparts.com. No dice. Sucks....it is a nice looking, good quality wheel. I just don't want 19's.

When in doubt go direct to the manufacturer for the truth....

www.axiswheels.com

Steve @ Axis said the Hiro model will live long and prosper.

I've talked to John at wheelstudio. The 18s are on backorder for a few weeks. Does anybody know the widest tire you can put on a 8.5 Rim? I can still run a staggered set-up if I can run a wider tire in the rear on these 18s. I'm thinking 245/F and 265/R if they fit. Who knows?
