Default Does VDC get affected when using 275/30?

I knwo the correct size for the rear is 275/35/19 but just wondering if anyone with a 30 profile tyre and VDC has had any problems. The 30 profile tyres are much cheaper in OZ.

Thanks for thye help.

I'm going with this set-up:
F:245/35/19 R:275/30/19
Dunlop ST Sport 9000 w/OZ Superleggera 3

I think theres no problem with the 275/30

as long as you match the diameter with the front, should be okay. A lot of japanese tuners use 30 series in the rear.
235/35/19 F and 275/30/19R is very close in diameter and will not throw off VDC. you can check various sizes at 1010tire.com it's a good tool, tells you what fits what rims and other specs of the tire size you plug in.

Interesting post as I have been through this myself very recently - whilst the 30 series works to me it just doesnt look right for some reason.

Toyo dont bring the 275/35/19 into Australia apparently in a T1s and the T1r doesnt exist in this size as far as i understand.

What other tyres are you considering and what prices do you have in AUD?

I have Nitto 555's in 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. I've had this set up for about 2 years and have had no issues with the VDC. I'll be switching to the new Toyo T1R tire though because the Nitto's have clocked out. New tires will be 245/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear.

I've used 2 set-ups..
front = 245/35/19
rear = 285/30/19
Dunlop SP9000's
-----
front = 235/35/19
rear = 275/30/19
Nitto 555's
-----
No trouble at all with either setup.
