So i got a flat on one of my 275/35/19's yesterday (they are almost 0 tread anyhow) and i am replacing both in the next few days. I would love to get the pilot sport A/S again cuz the rears lasted me 26,000 miles and the fronts still got at least 12,000 left but I dont know if anyone has them around here cuz I called and no one does at the moment. Could I run different brand tires if I HAD TO for the rears if they were the same size?
Also, I had to end up putting my old OEM rim/tire on because I have an enthusiast and upgraded the brakes to the track brembos and the spare didnt seem to fit. ANyone know if the track model has a larger spare to accomodate the larger brakes?

The track model comes with a 17" spare and all other models come with a 16" spare.
As for the running different brand tires you certainly can run a different brand of tire. Why most people don't do it is because the looks and I assume it will have some effect on performance and tire wear.
