Default Axis Wheels

Has anyone here done any business with Axis Sport Tuning in Sante Fe Springs, CA?

They have some very interesting wheels, in particular a style called "Reverb", which I believe will look great on my DB Track with the anthracite finish.

Their website can be found at:

http://www.axiswheels.com

If you have done any business with them, or have a set of their wheels, your comments are welcome. Either post here or PM me.

Thanks!

There are plenty of people on this board with Axis rims.....a couple of people had their Axis Hiros crack but I havent heard anything about the reverbs. Then again the Reverbs arent as popular as the Hiros I guess...

Hah, I think my print shop printed their brochure =P

I don't know their quality, but I've seen their rims in a lot of places, and advertised just about everywhere.

They don't look bad.

This is just my opinion here, but to me they sorta look like a poor man's Volk TE37s. Only with 5 spokes. I'm not sure which is more expensive, but this is how they appear in my eyes.

Thanks, guys. I found some threads on the Hiro wheels cracking here and at 350Zmotoring.com.

I think I'll stay away from them and keep looking. I can always strip my Ray's, repaint them a different color and polish the lip for the same look. I'm pretty confident of the structural integrity of the Ray's wheels. Nissan, and NISMO, wouldn't pick them as an OEM wheel without checking them out pretty carefully, IMO.

I have about 1 year worth of daily driving on my Hiros.

No issues at all.

But are these wheels cracking due to people tracking them or are they cracking on "daily drivers"? Ive seen the Hiro and daggone that a good looking wheel with the right drop and offset.

I have a set of Axis Seven Mods and so far so good. There was a slight, and I mean slight, defect with one of the rear wheels and they replaced no questions asked.

I'm with this guy on the cracking thing too. I've heard they crack and to say I don't care doesn't quiet sound right but ummm I guess I don't care cuz I still want them. I have not seen a wheel I like more than the silver Hiro's in 4 months of searching.

Sure I would care if they blew up at 120 but egh oh well at least they look good up until then:-P

All wheels can and will crack or bend at some point in their lifetime, some earlier than others.

Nothing lasts forever.

I'm sure that the few cracked Hiro's out there happened for a reason. With that said...they are one of the hottest wheels for under $1500. I like them...a lot.
