Could be the tires that are making the weights so different. you need to measure the wheels alone, or with match brand and size of tire. Some tires are significantly heavier than others.

Yeah, could be that the PS2's are lighter than S03's. Thats definitely a possibility.

Yes, the Michelin is roughly 2-3 pounds lighter in that size range. Although the 275 width is usually heavier than an equivalent 240 size in the same tire. It's kind of tough to make a straight comparison, but you can go to the tire weight charts and figure the wheels weights from there.

plus the difference in width of the wheel is going to make the comparison a little off also.

This helps, though! I can probably get to within a pound by figuring out the tire weights from Tire Rack and adding 1/2-1 pound for 1/2" of rim width.

Plus, those are SMB, which I believe are chrome plated. My 19" Hypers are just regular silver finish. I'm sure that saves a couple pounds.

not all tires weight the same, especially different sizes.

It's still a good indication

anyway, here is my contribution

BBS RGR 18x9.5 with 265/40-18 BFG KDW - 44.5 lbs

Wow. That's almost as light as my Harley wheel/tire.

Thats what everyone thinks but they are not. I was told that it is that new spray paint stuff that you can spray on anything to make it look chrome with out the weight. I heard that 5zigen applys it with a lazer and makes the chrome look black. Again, this is what I heard, so don't know how much of that is true. But they aren't plated I know that, theyd weigh much more.
