Default Toyo Proxie T1-Rs vs Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S

I have an 03 touring 6-speed with stock 18s. I need to replace the potenzas and was wondering which tire is better. My primary complaint with the potenzas is the ride is too harsh and the ride is kinda noisy. if there is a better tire than these two let me know as well. thanks!

I switched to BFGoodrich KDW-2's (235/40/18F 255/40/18R on my Rays) -- they're awesome in terms of performance, a slight bit noisy (though not as loud as my feathered potenzas), and they're treadwear 300

if you're going all out on performance, the T1R's would be the way to go, but remember that R-comp tires don't tend to last too long

I ended up getting the Pirelli Pzero Neros. 245/40/18 in the front and 275/40/18 in the rear. I'll post a review later.

275/40's on the stock 8" rims should be interesting...

I was worried about the width on the stock rims, but I called the nissan dealer where i get my car serviced and they told me the size would be fine. I guess we will see...
