Default wheel/tire recommendations....

Looking into purchasing new wheels/tires soon and need some serious feedback:

Wheels 18x9F/18x10R RACING HART CR (SILVER)
Tires 245-40-18F/275-40-18R NITTO NT-555
Offset +18F/+22R

Wondering if this seems like a decent combination. Also, wasn't sure if the NITTO
555's are excessive for everyday driving? Considering Toyo Proxes 4 since they
are all season, but not sure how well these perform. Any feedback would be
helpful.

that's pretty much the exact same setup I've got except I did 8.5" and 9.5" width but I have that same Nitto rubber and it's actually very good. I did some laps on a road course not too long after I got the Nitto's and they were nice and sticky. I'll buy them again when these wear out.

Looks like a good combination but I agree with Low J. You need to go a bit wider on the wheels.

wider wheels = wider tires

more rubber on the road...I went 255 and 285 no problem
