Stock wheels and 225/40/18 frond 245/40/18 rear
Has anyone did it and if so lets tell me his opinion or anyother who is expert to these.Touring wheels 8-18 30offset.Just wondering is driving gonna be bad and traction also, but at 3rd and up it might be much nervy?
um I'm not sure if I understood what you said or tried to say, but I'll take a shot
...
considering the stock is 225/45/18 and ur going 225/40/18, that just means ur going from a sidewall of 45 to 40. You will have pretty noticable wheel gap. Traction wont be effected because the widths are not changing. The only thing I see happening if even that, is the ride becoming a little bumpier.
Sidewall helps absorb impact. So when you have less sidewall then the tire will absorb less impact, which means you will feel the bumps more. But your change isnt huge and 40 is still a decent sized sidewall.
My 2cents, but I'm not a pro.

i mean from 677rear diameter and not sure 564 front going smaller does this affect the front camber of the car and the rear and also become understeer?Perhaps it will be faster due to smaller diameter
