My rims will be here in two weeks now I need to order tires. My rims are 20x8.5 20x10. I want the falken's with a 285/30/20 rear and a 245/35/20 front but Falken doesnt make a 245 and a 285 that match. Can I get away with a 255/35/20 in the front on a 8.5 rim?

i had 255s on 8.5 before without any problems. it was on a 19"rim, but that should not make a difference.

255s on 8.5 isn't a problem at all 18, 19 or 20..

what I'm wondering is how a 295 would fit 9.5s.. I know 285s fit no problem

Well ordered them from discount tire direct. Man they have some good prices! I paid 760.00 shipped! Now Ill just hope they dont rub.
