Default wheels look too tucked in?!

have a question guys...i recently purchased some wheels and after i installed them they seem to be a little in the "tucked in" side...they look a little weird like they're hiding inside the car...anyway is there such a thing i can do to correct this problem? to make them at least line up with the fender...maybe even have them stick out just a tad?i've heard of "spacers" but honestly i'm lost as to what i should do? any advice? as to where i can go to purchase something such as spacers or purchase whatever i need too to fix this problem?

Spacers will do the trick. Just make sure you purchase hubcentric ones like H & R etc

God, please do not allow them to stick out of the wheel well.

My friend got me some nice spacers a few years ago when I needed them for my MR-2. He got me some really nice hubcentric pieces from H & R

Impex Motorsports ask for Harry 626.285.6630

I will be there Saturday if you want to meet up. Pm me if you want.

Even if they stick out only .001" they will be lame cuz they will rub if you lower it, in fact even if they were 100% totally flush with the outside of the fender they would rub, and no fender rolling in the world will solve that.

Thats not true, I run 10.5" wide rears with 285's lowered, and I rolled my fenders and they dont rub at all...Id say mine are 100% flush if not maybe even a very little bit out.

Yes thats what he means. That picture to me has 2 problems. One the tire is to stretched on that rim, and two the offset looks wrong because the wheel actually sticks outside of the fender. Here is a pic of my +22 10.5" with a 285/35 and about 2.1 degrees negative camber. It looks perfect imo....

Alberto is right, there is NOTHING wrong with the wheels sticking out a bit, I just got my Volk SF Challenges and they are 10.5 +23 in the rear and everyone I know tells me that they look KICK@$$! I did have to roll the fender though, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

Oh yeah, btw Alberto how much is your car lowered and with what setup did you lower your Z with?

Im on JIC's with the progressive rear springs, lowered about 1.50-1.75"? over stock. I never did a back to back measurement, just judging from looking at other drops and my car. In those recent pics, Im actually at least 1/2-3/4"" higher than I was before(especially rear) I used to be lower, but I got tired of the stupid looking rear camber(even with toe bolts/kinetix arms) so I raised it and now Im sitting at little over 2 degrees negative camber, but still lower than most

What offset is that drumma? I've got a TE37 19x10.5 +22 offset and when I test mounted it onto my rear the top edge was flush w/ the top of fender. I'll be running a 285 tire and probably will need to roll my fenders.

That is a x10.5 +12 ... Soon to be fitted on my Z when I get it back from Nissan Service Dept.

"Stupid looking rear camber" is sometimes things that people strive for when setting up their car. I would like to see what you think of the black G35 that I have posted over and over on this board ...

Yeah setting up a drift car, or road race, not a daily driver like my car is. That G is absolutely beautiful, it looks great. Unfortunately for the owner he will be replacing tires every 10-15K miles, thats exactly what I got tired of. But hey its his car hes gonna pay to play.

problem is, that at a certain point, even spacers look lame, since you can clearly see them by looking at the hub part of the wheel. Not to mention no spacer will make up for width.

On the front of the car, you are very limited to the spacer you can run witht he stock wheel stus, as there is not that much thread to work with.

What size9s) are the wheels you got?

As for the 10.5 +12 - you are going to be doing more than fender rolling and camber to get them to fit

+12 is bit too much for me. To each his own though, I just can't afford to be replacing tires every 10K miles. That G looks hot, just wouldn't do it myself.
