Default Performance 18'' Tires

Guys,

Which brand tires to buy for 18'' wheels. Michelin, Pirelli, Toyo etc?. Which ones give better handling and traction and have superior performance, doing day to day freeway driving.

I read on the forum, someone complained about Toyo's degrading the quality of ride etc..

Since you refer to "day to day freeway driving", do you mean you want a softer ride or are you really looking for all-out performance handling?

All out performance with out compromising ride quality. Something comparable to the current ride on stock 17 potenza's yet at the same time better performance handling. I am willing to lose a little bit on ride quality for better cornering , acceleration etc.

Thanks

Just added Toyo T1 Rs three weeks ago. Just returned from vacation putting about 1200 miles on the new tires. The T1 Rs are quieter and improve ride quality over the OEM tires. Handling seemed about the same. The improvement in ride quality is relatively dramatic; i.e. much better ride.
