+1 that's a nice wheel and should look great on your blue Z.

**** my wheels. Peices of ****, I give the bumbs at the local car wash some change to clean them, I hate cleaning them, kidding on the bumbs, but after a while, you get good at smashing your hands inbetween each spoke and getting all the dirt out.....lol.

I use those coin washes, so I use the high pressure soap water and blast them clean. then I go over them lightly with a towel, and everything is gravy....

I know I'm late as hell on this thread...

but to me, TO ME, the "porsche-DTM-tuner-look" that I'm accustomed would have to be:

-Mesh or multi-spoke(more than 5)
-Brushed aluminum face with polished lip OR Black or dark face with polished lip.
-Obvious staggered look, with some lip in back.
-295+...300+ width tire in the back.

I agree, it would be lame to make a car LOOK too much like something that it is not, but I believe Ravi is attempting to just capture the essence of an iconic sports car.

Nothing wrong with that.

Still waiting. There is a guy selling a good condition set of sf winnings in the offset I want with decent price. I'm seeing if he will take my offer.

If not, I'm going to stick with the volks, mainly b/c they give me the look I truly want for my Z. Thanks for sticking up for me guys, you nailed it right on the head.

I can't believe this, you want a Porsche look/feel and you're not even considering BBS wheels?! How much more Porsche/iconic German sports car can you get? Sorry man, if you really want to capture the feel, repaint your car red, leave your emblems off, get multipiece mesh BBS wheels (LMs, perhaps?) with a gold center and polished lip. Now you've got a dead ringer for the imaginary new Porsche 944...

Otherwise, good looking car.

EDIT: Just found what I was talking about from your iForged link:

Hey Ravi, why not check out excellence magazine for the ads. those are all wheels that cater to porsche's. I would like to see the three peice GT-2 wheels from the 993 model on a Z, would be sick, I think that it has a brushed center with a polished lip... NO CHROME!!! PLEASE!!!! or 20'' rims

iforged customer service is crap, if you have any problems yor ****ed. i suggest HRE with brushed center and polished lip. i worked for a porsche tuner and that set-up looks sick on the 996TT.

I think silver with the polished lip would be best. Definitely Vertex kit over the gaudy Kenstyle.
