How to install H&R wheel spacers ?
i bought these from a friend, but need to know how to install them, here are some pics. this is all it came with.
This is a pic i found of some installed. doesn't look like the hub was removed. just used some nuts to cover the stock bolts. do i do the same with the spacers i have ? mine do not have the same indention that these have. thanks.

The last picture is of the 25mm(~1inch) spacer. It simply bolts on to the hub & then you bolt your wheel to that. The spacers you have look to be about 1/2inch. What needs to be done is you have to take off the rotor and then remove your original wheel studs. Bang them out, gently but frimly, with a rubber mallet or place a solid piece of wood on them and tap it with a hammer. After you "pop" them out you slide in the new studs and spacer. THe new studs are longer than the original studs and make up for the thickness of the spacer. Then bolt your wheel to the new setup.
I have the 25mm spacer & love the wide look.

just remove the rotors and hammer the old studs out.
when you put the new studs on, use a lug nut to pull them out ... there's no room in the back of the hub for you to use a hammer to bang them in.

Then you are set.
Try to have an open ended lug nut and a stack of washers around.
It is easiest to pull the new hub bolts through by putting a few washers over the hub bolt and then using the open ended lug nut to tighten down and pull the new lug nut through...
Also, be sure to re-torque your wheels after 50 miles or so to make sure the new hub bolts are seated properly...

ok, just did them, wow, not as easy as i thought it would be, i think i messed something up on the left rear e brake, couldn't get the rotor to go back on, had to mess with it a little to get it to work. but i finally got it on. anyway, the wheels look 100 times better, just did the rear, don't have the front spacers yet, eventually i will do those, will take some pics later and post them here. thanks for everyones help.
