NT is the same as "2"
its the original tread they made them..
If you look at www.bfgoodrichtires.com it is the first tire size on the 3rd page...
KDW TT = Tradiatial Tread
KDW NT = New Tread

Now on to something that pisses me off. There is NO SUCH THING AS KDW-2. There is only one KDW. Now if you go to their website you will see that they have a new and an old tread pattern. The tire compositions are identical just the tread pattern has changed. Tire Rack seems to think they need to list them separate instead of denoting which are which.

BFG has a 275/40/18 in the TT tread design but not in the NT design. I want the NT. I'm SOL on this one. I might go with Avon. Not a bad tire for the money and a lot quieter than the Toyo's I'm now running.
