I am getting a headache trying to look thru all of the old posts about feathering, most are people who say they are tired of hearing about it and they aren't much help.

Simple question..

Can the feathering be fixed by simply having the camber adjusted so that it is not so negative? In other words have it dialed in to a less aggressive spec than the what the factory called for, which I am guessing was incorrect on their part?

Also I want to lower with Hotchkis springs 9/16" front and 3'4" rear. Do or should I need to use coil overs to be able to adjust all of that excessive camber out?

 

It really wouldn't be all that much of an issue if it werre that simple. From looking at many posts, and Nissan's TSB(s), it is the Toe-In, not camber that needs to be adjusted.

Hotchkis springs do not drop the car enough to need coil overs (which isn't what you'd need any way). You can bring the camber back into spec without addl. parts (c-arms, etc.)

Camber is adjustable within narrow limits. Another problem is maintaining the camber setting. Aftermarket front camber kits offer more flexibility than the stock set-up.
