oh my...

maybe orange looks different to you then most people?

honestly, i think they would look terrible on a black car. that blue sti looks almost, if was really really drunk, passable with orange wheels.

it would look cheap and laughable, imo, and i'm a big fan of black and orange.

Well i'm not the greatest at photoshop, but this is my best shot.

The main difference is the wheels in my pic look somewhat shiny, whereas the wheels in the subaru pics are more matte.

Frankly, it just looks weird... (and somehow I don't think that's just because of my crappy photoshop skills)

^ Happy Halloween!!!

Sorry...not my cup of tea. Now, if you plan on making your car exclusively a "track" car with matching logos, etc...then I'd say go for it. Otherwise, it just looks way too off for daily driving.

It would definitely attract a lot of attention from people, they will stare at it and think "WTF" to themselves...

Personally I don't think it looks BAD, just very, very different. I actually like to see "different" looking cars as long as I know the owner likes what he/she did.

I've even seen a VW Beetle (The old kind) hand-painted matte purple, and the license plate read "POIPLE" ... obviously the owner had weird taste and somewhat of a sense of humor.

Just do what you want to do, and if someone tells you it looks bad, that's why you have a middle finger.

I'm with these guys, I think it would be ugly. Those STi's don't look very cool in my opinion, but if that's what you like, go for it. I'm pretty sure you'd be the ONLY Z in the world with orange wheels, so you'd be unique.

Just to make a suggestion, black with gold rims can look really hot, and draw attention, and still be within the confines of normality.

(donns flame suit) maybe the orange rims would go better with an equally outrageous body color. if you're going different, why not go all the way, like a neon blue or green?
and a huge, orange rear wing to boot!

thanks for the joke z boy. lol made me laugh. no im planning to go all cf. hood hatch fenders bodykit a pillar covers b pillars etc. so i figured its not most ppls style as it is why not take it even farther. i dont know i really like the orange on the sti those things are cool to me. i wish someone could do that exact orange somehow on a set of 17s and 18s. i think itd look waaaay different but to me in a good way. i may just do it and see how it comes out and if its too odd just get new wheels or paint black over it.

I don't think orange would look good either. Maybe gold would look good.
