Default Gold on DG Continued(With Pics)

Well two days ago i started a thread wanting to see pics of gold on DG, after seing there was not too many people with it i decided to do it. I was going to go with Le37, or Te37 but after seing the overwhelming amount of Z/g owners who have them i decided to do something different. Definetly not for everyone, but so far everyone who has seen them in person has loved them.

The car will be lowered this week, i have only owned it for 5 days, just wanted to throw these up

Next to me evo on 17x9 Ce28n's

I would get black, gunmetal, or silver.

Gold and bronze doesnt look right with a silver car.

Naw i am good. As much as i would love Te's like the other 500 members who have them, the Tc2's are sick IMO. Personally i love it. I think Te/le37 are the most used rim on the Z/G Rays has like 3 z's on their site with them

Gold on silver/grey is definetly an aquired taste, and not for everyone. I just wanted to do something different. Everyone who has seen them in person loves em. Plus i already have Ce's on the evo, and had Le37t's for 4 years on my old wrx.

Going to do some S-techs this week, and that is probally about it for mods. Mabey an exhaust but that is it. I bought this car as i dont want 2 modded cars, just sold my 550whp wrx last thursday for that reason.

For those who like it thanks!

You've got awesome taste in wheels. I've always considered Volk and Advan to be the smartest money for performance wheels. The GTR style was definetley the way to go. The curved spokes look dope. I want these but can't find a good price. it would be better if they where forged, but even still I think they only weigh 16 to 18lbs.

Thanks.. I paid 2k shipped for them brand new. I work at a shop so i got pretty good discout, i am not even sure what they retail for.

I have ran volk on all my other cars, but they are becoming WAY too common. I remember when diamond black was so rare, now you see it on every car, it is crazy.

I am wishing i bought advan rg's for my evo when they still made them, i love those wheels!

Cronic,

They have the RG2's now. I'd stay with the CE28N, they're STUPID light. If you could get me simular pricing for the TC2's in silver, I'd be interested.

Rg was so much nicer then the RG2.. I love the ce28n dont get me wrong, but just gettting very common. WHen i got them i had to special order them as all gold is not a standard color.

What size and offset do you want?

Looks 100x better on the white Z. That doesnt work at all on the G IMO.

They might work when lowered, but your G doesnt go with gold at all, maybe if your car was black....the G and Z need bigger wheels and lips IMO...I dont like it, sorry.

These wheels are for the performance minded. They won't apeal to everyone and their mother.
