Default Hitting Bottom

I have the OEM suspension, OEM Size tires, OEM Wheels.
Why do I bottom out now when I go over speed bumps when I used to never do so???
It dosent matter how fast im going over it either. It did it while speeding over them, and while inching over them however its NEVER consistant i go over the same speed bumps every day and it will do it every once in a while on different ones...

I want to get the Nismo Suspension and dont want to have bigger issues...

I wish that was the case, at least I know what the problem is. I only weigh 150.

you have to go over bumps at an angle, if not you scrape. Just make an apprx. 45 degree angle as you roll over at a slow, slow speed.

BTW, is this your first "real" sportscar? Any low slung car is going to have this problem. Damn 909ers.

what do you mean by bottom out?

are you "Scraping" the bottom?

or are you hitting the suspension so hard you are bottoming out the suspension?

Im either hitting my y-pipe, the braces that hold the cats, or something else.

I can feel the tranny move and the shifter goes up and down.
it sounds like knock more than a scrape.

And i doubt im hitting the suspension hard as it does it at all different speeds, and all different times. If I always hit this one bump then I would know what to look for but its always different which is what is wierding me out.

if you scrape the y-pipe or cats it is going to push up the motor / trans...

your cats / test pipes just might be a little bit longer and pushing down the whole exhaust...

Well..

WE had this problem with some high flow cats we sold in the past...

where the pipes were just 1/4" longer then the stock ones...

the same thing could be possible with the headers...

only way to know for sure i guess would be to measure them exactly...

even hold them up to the original headers...
