Go here

http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp

and select the 350Z and wheel options. Then search only 19 inch wheels. Find the appropriate size wheels, and it will tell you the recommended tire sizes. Before you begin shopping for tires, verify the correct tire sizes here

Im running the same width rims, you can fit a 255FR and 285 Rear and they should not buldge. The rear doesn't rub but my camber is a lil off, I don't know about the front til they wear off. Im sure they fit but not sure about the rubbing if any. But the 285 provides good grip. It was a big difference from a 275 in my case.

are you going to do 255/35 / 285/35

IMHO I think it is pointless... You get wider tires yes... but then you also get taller tires / (larger diameter) as well... heavier / more rotational mass...

:-/

I just dont want the stretched look on the back on 19x9.5 and a little rim protection on the front.

I have a G35C with 19"...so performance is already lost there and it is not everything for me....
