I've seen this first hand on a team-mates set of GT-Cs. I use, and highly recomend using, a quick detailer, something non-abbrasive that is designed for paint, such as the Meguire's quick detail or NX detailer, or even Mother's has a good quick detail out (i like it beause it smells like cinamon haha).
These are fine to use on your wheels, they won't affect the clearcoat (since they are designed to protect it), and they offer a nice shine, especially for those colored wheels. I don't even use water and soap, i just use this to wipe the wheel down and clean em...

Not a guess. That place is the shiet. I usually get 3-4 orders at a time when I am there. I miss the green hot sauce.

Anyways, what do i need to know to keep the polish lip clean now? I heard from some people that I need a sealant after I polish them? True? Calling all polished lip people.

My friend owns a wheel shop the fixes, paints does everything to rims. Ive never heard of a sealant. He just always tells people to polish their lips after every wash to keep the best look/protection, but I think that can be stretched to polish 1X every couple washes or 1X a month. Good luck....
