Default Will this tire size trigger the VDC?

I saw a good deal on the tire sizes 275 30 19 and 245 35 19. I know the wheel in the back is supposed to be within certain specs for the vdc to not always kick in. Do these sizes meet the requirements?

its a toss up, its not recommended. some people have had problems and some have not. Why not go with a 265/30/19 in the front?

Hmmm, how will that affect the looks of the tires?

You have a problem: the front tires are taller than the rear. This may confuse VDC, and not operate properly.

it would look less odd then your proposed 245/35, 275/30 and it would be a more balanced setup as well. the sidewall would be slightly shorter in the front with the 265/30 setup which is just right and should not confuse your VDC. you can get a 265/30/19 and 275/30/19 setup made by General Tire from Tirerack for about $620.00 shipped to your door. Not the best performing tire but it they are suppose to have long tread life.

Go with the tried and true, 275/35 and 245/35 setup.

Thanks everyone, I went with the Toyo T1-R 245/35/19 & 275/35/19. So far, they are GREAT tires. Excellent grip on turns. I just hope they last longer than the Bridgestones.

oh no, you didnt buy the toyos for longevity did you? Better baby those, they are really good for traction but man they do wear quickly.
