so i was thinking of painting my stock 17 rims into a dark bronze color... but i dont know if i should take it to a shop or doing it myself. i would be using spray paint and primer to paint it. anybody have experience with it? how much usually would it cost to get it done at a shop?
i was also thinking about replacing the rubber with some high grip Falken Azenis Rt-615s. 225/45/17 in the front and 245/45/17 in the rear. This is gonna be with an inch drop.
Im planning on doing this because i dont plan on getting new rims for years... and im going to track the car. Would the 45 sidewall tires look a whole lot weirder than that 50 stock rubber? what do you guys think.

well those dont look like *** and he did them himself. it just depends on the time and effort you put into it. you get out what you put in. so you could take em to a shop and have em paint em or you can get em powdercoated, if you have a lot of time (read a couple hours of sanding and prepping and then painting) then you could try to do em yourself.
