I was able to get the front tires replaced by nissan as a result of the feathering issue @ about 9k miles - however now the back tires are about done and I don't exactly feel like dropping $600+ to replace the OEM Potenzas.
I was thinking about replacing the rears w/BFG G-Force 225/45 for my stock 2003 coupe (18" wheel)
Is anyone else using this combination on their Z? Good idea, bad idea?
Thanks in advance

For best handling and performance, I recommend replacing all tires at the same time. That said, new tires on the same axle are OK. I would avoid mixing summer performance with, say, all season tires.
With the combination that you mentioned, the Z will handle differently, but neither better nor worse.
