Default question about tire rotation on 350z and g35

Hey , i have already introduced my self.. on the new owner link....
but i have just got a 2003 nissan 350z 6mt enthusiast, and 2005 infinity g35 coupe 6mt.

i was wondering since both car come with bigger rear tires. and if i want to get a tire rotation, both infinity and nissan dealership costing about 80 dollars,
is that the avg price for a tire rotation>???

can i do it some where outside.. such as National Tire and Batter (NTB)..

Since the tires are bigger on the back..dont they just change the back , from left and right
and the front ones Visa versa...

please give me some advice....

you cant just switch sides of the car cause the tires are directional. you have to take the rubber off the rim and swap from left to right turning them inside-out and then remount on the rim and put back on the car. at least this is the way for the Z.

i just had my fronts done this way at an independent local race shop and they charged me 35 bucks.

$80 is reasonable.

um... some tires are both directional and side-specific. I could't swap my Michellin PS2's at all... only way would be front-back on same side, but then again they are different sizes so nope. Check your tires... If they come with large outside shoulder contacts, and inner water dispersion (like my PS2's) you dang sure don't wanna swap them side to side ROFL. Just buy new ones when they wear.
