Default Definitely lose the front plate...

You are correct there, Luke. That was an earlier picture right off the Nissan Lot. But, I gotta post an updated picture with the chrome Z plate on the front.

Happy New Year to all Z car owners and their families...

I think the front end looks better with no plate .... here in Indiana we do not have to use a front plate at all .... so, I'm used to seeing things that way ....

Default California - A two plate State

My truck and my BMW that I had sent from an Indiana dealership do not have plates. But, the Nissan dealer that prepped my car did the plate thing.

Maybe it might not cost me much to have the holes filled?

Also at least in San Francisco, the police are pretty strict about not having a front plate and will write tickets for this (at least in my experience). Maybe it's becuase of all the new photo intersections geared towards catching red light runners? Who knows...But that being said my Z doesn't have a front plate and if I ever have to put one on, I'll probably zip tie it to the grill (saw a post a while back with pics of this).

another way people do it is to velcro it on, esp if you get a fix it ticket (velcro on the grill) then take it off

Hey, Luke,

TXStyle posted a suggestion in another thread that using the Lexus GS series on the TireRack site would yield a good list of wheels that should be similar, at least, in fitment to the Z... of course a call is always recommended...

I especially like the SSR wheels (I have SSR Integrals on my PGT...), and I think the GT1 or Competition in 18x9F, 18X10R (~30mm offsets???) would prolly hit the sweet Z spot...
