hey, im trying to decide if i should get GlossBlack rim or Gunmetal rim? they both are gonna have chrome(silver) outer ring(Lip).

oh, also the rim that im looking at is Luff M1.

Neither, but if i had to choose, I would get gunmetal...You can also look into getting some super black coating by VOLK or Rays Engineering. Better yet, IMO the Racing Hart CP-Ftune is a good looking black.

I do agree with the cost of the VOLKS, but thats just my opinion bro. I have a black Z, So if i put black on black wheels In My Opinion, It would look cheap. But if I had a white car like yours, I would go gunmetal. But its on your discrecion and your taste. I wouldn't ever tell anyone what to spend their hard earned $$$ you know! Just go with what you like!

 

I say black too but if you want Mercury Silver, you can buy mine.

yeah, im kinda liking gunmetal better... cuz if you look at GlassBlack rim. you cant see a thing.

 

i would go with black and maybe slap on a carbon fiber hood...but thats me

 

for a mesh style wheel, i think silver would look best, but gunmetal would be my 2nd choice.

I like the gunmetal better too but you should see from the photos above that gunmetal doesn't really look black in the sunlight. It looks like a darkish grey.

Would gunmetal on a SS Z be too little contrast? Where black would stand out more. I'm kinda of worried about going black because I've seen both really sick SS w/ black rims and not so pretty SS w/ black. But w/ gunmetal the rims dont stand out as much and are almost the same color as the car...

I'm all confused, cant choose...
