^^ what he said.
Quick question for any work owners that have an anodized lip (which probably is most of you). How do you guys go about with protecting the wheels.
And for the hairline scratches, how do you go about with those, since we can't just polish the anodized lip

work t1s
i have a set of work t1s wheels and was wondering if it is possible to put new barrels on them to make them wider. I know they are discontinued now and i cant seems to find anyone that has them in stock. Is this possible and if so does anyone have any shops they can recommend?

Some of your options:
1. Widened by welding a piece of aluminum but the wheel will have to be cut.
2. Undoing welds and re-welding onto an aftermarket barrel.
3. Have them taken apart by undoing the welds and re-welding to a lower offset.
I've seen a few wheels done by Weldcraft.
Eric Vaughn Machine is another.

Thanks for the response. A few more questions;
If i undo the welds and re-weld onto a aftermarket wheel does it weaken the wheel any? When re-welding to a lower offset im guessing that all they do is undo the welds and more the face of the wheel?

There are a few members on here who have done it. IIRC there is a slight bump where the weld used to be once the faces are moved.

Hey you guys might not know me but I'm the father of one and one in the oven...saved my pennies and swallowed a lot of jokes at my stock wheels with horrible offset!
Today I spent a lot of money just to be cool, and one of you!

wheels
So I've been 100% set on a set of work equips non step lip. Absolutely love them. But the deal fell through and I cant find anyone willing to ship or local :'(
So in my new search for wheels I found work ls406 really cheap and in good condition. I can't decide if I like them or just don't like any wheel now because I'm so set on finding equips.
I never care about opinions with my car, but now I'm really wondering what people think of these....help a girl out.
