Nitto NT01 Solution For Forced Induction?
Is the NT01 the solution for dry weather traction for forced induction cars? I'm having trouble hooking up with my 275 Michelin PS2's with my Turbonetics kit. If I go with the NT01 I will need to buy 18" wheels. I am currently running 19's. Would the better solution be to go with a 295 rear PS2? I really love the 19's I have now. But I have to be able to hook up. So..... 275/18's NT01's? Or 295/19 PS2's?

In most cases a stickier tire will wear out faster won't it? If i were you i'd stay with those and buy some 18s with drag radials or R compounds if you want some grip for track days.
I need traction.... tread wear be damned. The KD is in the same class as the PS2, but I would stick with PS2's. The question is to go with a PS2 295/19 or switch to an 18" wheel so I can run the NT01. I am asking if the traction improvment with the NT01 is worth buying a whole new set of 18" wheels. I need a street tire. I can't hook up on the street. I don't want a drag radial.

I run NT01s for track only. Even with a 100 treadwear which is on the harder side for an r-compound it is exactly that, a competition tire with quick wear. R-compounds need to be within a certain temperature range for the traction benefits. I highly doubt you will be getting optimal temps and the results you're looking for while street driving. At the same time your wet performance is gone.
Do you run a coilover or adjustable shock? Try going to the softest setting so you're not sitting there spinning your wheels. I run the softest setting on the rears for autox and semi-softest for road courses depending on conditions.
I think you're on the right track with switching to 18's. Get a higher profile tire giving some ability to deflect and hook up.
Have you tried the Nitto drag radials? Maybe they're constructed with a better compound for launches.

your 13kg/mm rear coil springs that are located on the shock body are WAY too stiff. there is no compliance in your rear suspension. when you launch or accellerate, it is difficult to shift weight onto your rear tires. thus, no traction
more compliance offered by a 18 inch tire with taller sidewall will improve traction as well.
