yeah but so much work isnt worth like 600 dollars a wheel...
like total material + labor cost + capital cost for each wheel is like 100 bucks MAX

Yeah, they probably have fairly high margin on each product but the market is paying so good for them.
I only wonder what the dealer cost looks like.

I remember in Sport Compact a couple years back they talked about visiting the Rays factory and see dumpsters FILLED with wheels that were tossed out for cosmetic blemishes. HAHA, man I would be dumpster diving fo sho!

That factory is one thing...
I can see us paying for their R&D and sponsoring those numerous racecars and events to be near the top of the game all these years.
The meticulous work ethic and inspection that goes into these parts are what makes them special.
Even BBS (a premiere German wheel-maker) has their forging plant in Japan.
