How do you take care of rims with polished lip?

Depends on what kind of wheels.

If the lips have a clear coat (Rays/Volk Racing Wheels) use water and mild soap.
If you use anything else it will mess up the lips.

If the lips DO NOT have a clear coat and have use mothers poilsh.

 

it has clear coat on it. tire shiner's not gonna hurt my rims right?

 

I use an air compressor to dry them so there is minimal scratching on my 5 Zigens.

 

what about the spray tire cleaner by turtle wax????

 

Dont use anything but mild soap, or mild window cleaner on clear coat wheels.

Anything else will destroy the clear coat and make spots on the lips that will never come off.
