anyone powder coat or paint their rims black?
if so, how expensive was it? how are the results? any photos?

There is a gallery for each color 350Z. Check the gallery for your color Z, and you’ll find all sorts of different color wheels.

i had my stocks performance wheels powdercoated flat black, strong and durable...im having a set of track wheels being powdercoated right now and should be done by fri, i will post pics for you...as of right now heres what i got...
Price wise was $300 all said and done, sandblasted & powdercoated...

i have read that the powder coating process weakens the strength of the rim, do you know anything about this?

The orignial track wheels are powdercoated, so I don't know about weakening the wheels. I had mine powdercoated black over two years ago.

I remember someone saying that there was a powdercoating place in Colton california off of rancho ave, kinda where I live, but I can't remember who. Wanted to see if I could get a name or number of the place

My cost for powdercoating was $75/rim. However I had to have wheelworks remove and remount the tires which is an additional expense.

sroks5: 100/rim isn't a bad price considering you have two piece rims. Did you take them apart and reassemble or did the powdercoating place do that?

I also like your front lip. I hit a truck tire in the middle of the road and split my bumper beneath the grill. Covered it with a lip from intensepower.com (135.00). The fit is great but would have preferred your one piece bumper.
