With an upper plenum such as Crawford, you may not be able to use a brace similar to the OEM brace. The OEM brace goes over the top of the plenum. There is not enough room between the plenum and hood for an OEM style brace. What you need is a straight brace with sits in front of the plenum. Check these at froogle:

GT SPEC &185
Cusco $165
Stillen $147
JIC $170
Greddy Strut Tower Bar $104

Call before you buy.

Why?

I was about to pick up the crawford bar. Is it for looks or quality?

Unless someone else designs a new one, the ONLY one that will currently fit on a "raised" plenum is Crawford, Stillen, & APS. There are some spacers that may fit but since you're going for a Crawford plenum, you're limited to only these 3.
