Default Axis milano or hiro...for my Chrome silver Z??

Post pics please or post any opinions of what you guys think of either one of these wheels on a chrome silver z. i am getting a really good deal on either one of these and i just want them to last me until i get up to baller status.

also...what kind of tires are you guys rocking on 19x8.5f w/ 35mm offset and 19x9.5r w/ 20 mm offset??

thanks for all your help guys...i searched but i could not find exactly what i was looking for. this is actually my second post i believe because i just got my car a few days ago.

thanks again. chris.

Being biased with the Milanos! Hiros are nice also. If you are going with the Milanos, make sure you get the correct offsets. 19x8.5 20 offset and 19x9.5 w/ a 15 offset. I've seen Z's with higher offsets and the wheels did not sit flush with the fender. Getting the right offsets in the begining will avoid the use of wheel spacers later on.

Tires size, i'm running 245/35 in the front and 275/35 in the rear. Some folks are running 30's in the rear which tend to make the wheel gap larger.

if you researched properly you'll realize that the "break" problem was limited to a single production run

always remember, for each person that complains on a forum like this there are 500 others that don't complain

axis may not be volk but i have NEVER had quality problems with my hiros and I've hit potholes bigger than your ego

That may be so Strife350z; but I read on the internet somewhere that Hitler loves the Axis and I'm not having no **** loving wheels on MY car so maybe YOU should do some research!

Milanos would be my choice if I had to choose. Post pics when you get them on. Also, once you get up to "baller" status, post again so we can get high quality wheels on your Z

I've had my 19" axis hiros for about 1K miles. No bending yet! I drive through the bumpy roads of downtown everyday.

+1, never owned any axis wheels, infact i have a set of volk gt7's waiting for some tires in the garage. but before i purchased the gt7's i did about 3 months of nightly research on wheels trying to figure wtf i really wanted to buy. i really liked the hiros so i did research on them and sure enough some people had problems but if you did enough homework these people who had these problems were few and far between. one production run and if you did have one of these defective wheels, axis was more then happy to give you a new one to replace it. now, ive seen threads of about volks bending after hitting pot holes but you know what they are few and far between just like the axis problem. im not gonna tell people that volks are prone to bending after reading about a few people who have bent their volks.

Definitely Milanos if you're willing to wait 2-3 months for them. I was in the process of getting them, but I kept getting jerked around by the people who manufacture the wheels. They will have the fronts in stock (19x8.5) but not the rears (if you're going for staggered fitment... and why wouldn't you?).
Either way Axis seems like a good brand.
BTW, never seen a wheel that didn't bend.
Peace out, and good luck.

I mean just look at xTTer's ride... pure "niceness"

The President of Axis replied to an older thread about the wheels bending! He said that it was just a batch of 100 wheels and they have made hundreds of thousands of wheels through the company's lifetime.
