maybe its just stupid me....but why dosent anybody put chrome wheels on their cars. Does the weight really matter that much????

 

Or fat chrome rims looks ugly on a Z?

 

I dunno I think some chrome 19s might look sweet. I am having a really hard time deciding what kind of wheels to buy....something deep dish. or maybe some of those spinnin rims ahhhhh j/k

 

if you are just cruising around and never plan on driving your car like the performance car it is then chrome would be just fine ....

the weight difference you mentioned can effect the overall performance of your car ... a basic look at the weight issue can be summed up as

5 lbs. of unsprung weight is equivalent to 1.5 usable h.p. or .1 seconds in the 1/4
