Some people have stuffed a 305 in there but you do have to role fenders for that.

DmanG can you post up a pic. Right now I have 275/30/19 and I hate how skinny and stretched they are on my 10.5" Im thinking about some 285/30's.

My dad is the manager of a firestone and could never give me a clear answer when I asked him to explain tire sizing. What do the different numbers mean, and what is the widest, in inches, that would fit on a stock Z?? Thanks

285 - Width in MM.
35 - Profile, or % of the width. How tall the tire is. 35% of 285MM.
last number is the size of the rim the tire will fit on.

Stock Z, You would have to look at a chart or something cause you want things to be the same as if it were stock. Im talking about the overall diamiter of the wheel and tire or your TCS will not work right.

We run a 285/30/18 front (18x8.5" rim) and a 315/30/18 rear (with a 18x9.5" rim) This combo. is great for all around performance!

255/30/20 front
285/30/20 rear

Im thinking of getting a set of 17" 5zigens 17z9 and 17x10 with 305 in the back or 295. I bet that will give me better traction with all the power under the hood. Right now I fish tail and hop all over the place. Anyone have some wide A$$ 17 or 18's?
