Default 18x12 volks

Hey whats up, I'm thinking of getting 18x12's R and 18x10's F in the gunmetal Volk Racing GT-C's. Can anyone tell me if the 12's will fit without rolling the fenders. If so, with offset will they fit?? And where are the best prices at for the Volks??

Wholy shiat. First thing's first: What offset? People love to ask if a 10-12" wide rear wheel will fit. Offset plays a CRUCIAL roll on fitment.

In terms on 12" rear fitting. I highly doubt it. I'm pretty positive you will run into rubbing issues or they just won't fit unless you want your wheels sticking way past the fender which i would not do.

Probably an 11.5 can work with some some minor lip sticking out on an 18.

Where can you get 12" wide Volks? I was told I can only get up to 11.5" custom made.

Yea, that's pretty high $...

You can fit a 12" rim back there, but it's going to stick out... beyond the fender edge. This means you will have to be very careful with tire selection. If not and your taking a hard turn off a ramp or something, the outside wheel will squat, pull out towards the top and rub when the top outer edge of the tire makes contact with your fender. I watch idiots with their old cars and 24" rims do this all the time...

If you want a 12" + tire, you will be fine with 10.5-11" rim. The wheel wells clearance is only around 12" with an uncut fender edge. If you want to run a 295-315 back there, you will have to trim the fenders.
