I changed out my brake pads a couple of days ago and when I took the Rear Wheels off, i had a strange wear pattern (at least to me).

The Outside Quarter of the tread was at about 25%,

The middle half of the tread was gone almost to the point of being slick and the inside quarter of the tread was at about 10%


It was the same on both rear tires? Any thoughts?

(BTW, they are Cooper Tires with about 25K on them)

 

Maybe excessive negative camber, incorrect toe setting or incorrect air pressure. Better have alignment checked.

 

Photos would be helpful. Over inflated?

Center wear usually indicates over inflation.
