i know that paying for stock rims seems silly to some, but i really like the 06's 18" wheels

what do you guys think i should be paying for a set of 4 wheels with new tires on them?

i think i can get my hands on some for about 1200

 

you can get the g35 19s for around $1200, so i would expect that the z 18s would be a little cheaper (maybe by a 100 or 200).

if i were you, i'd wait as more '06s are sold, people will go for aftermarket wheels and sell the oems for cheap. just give it some time, soon ebay and the private classifieds will be flooded with them.

but if you have to have them now, $1200 isn't a bad deal.

edit: i'm assuming $1200 is for rims and tires, right?

 

agreed, i wont really be driving it until winter is over so i think when i put my summer tires back on the s2000 ill get the wheels for the nissan

 

If they are worth $1,200 to you, then they are worth $1,200. Go for it.

 

the 19's will be more pricy.

BUT i can tell you that the 18's should be cheaper. all the 06 z's will come with 18's so the wheels value will plummet. just wait another 4-6 months.

 

I'd hold out for $1000 or less.

 

unless you were needing to buy tires, i would hate to drop 1k+ for stock G rims or any other stock rims. you could justify it if the cost of new tires were as much as a used set of stock rims you liked that included fairly new tires.
