Volks are amazing wheels but I dont think theyre good enough to justify a 30-90 wait. RH wheels are different, there are A LOT of Z's and G's with Volks, I wanted to be a little different. The Volk GT wheels are cast as well, they have a forged outer lip but the face are still cast. The new RH Pro wheels have a new casting design which is supposedly a stronger/better design. I have the RH R5Pros and have driven over countless L.A pot holes and the wheels were not bent or anything. As far as the lips getting hazy, I think you just have to know how to take care of the wheels. The lips are not polished, theyre clear coated so using any wheel cleaner will start to deteriorate and eat away at the clear coat causing the haziness. I only use soap and water and its still holding up fine. No doubt that Volk wheels kick a$$ but I do not regret getting my R5's. Just my .02.

I have had both RH Pro J5s and Volk GT-7s. In my opinion, the Volks are better. The J5s are the same size and offsets as the J8s. Here are a couple of pics...

Better in terms of looks or a combination of other factors? By the way, how much do those Volks weigh?

Vicynax when you get a chance would you please take a side picture from farther away. The wheels look really nice.

Thanks in advance.

I personally would have gone with the RH J8. People keep saying that cast wheels will break easier than forged wheels. While that may be true, it still requires a **** load of force to do it cast or not. The RH are all cast, but the GT 7, also have a cast center, so can you really justify spending nearly 1K more just to have a forged lip? Plus i think the J8's look better than the GT 7.
If i recall, Volks also had a problem with their lips turning purple if you tried to use anything other than soap and water, but that is the same with any cleared lip. The volks are great wheels, but it's hard to justify a 3 month wait and an extra grand.

I like the RH J8 better. They look classier for some reason and the cost is less. Similar weight.
