Why is everyone selling their Volks lately?

Yup, I'm seeing alot of Z's being put on the used market, or leases ending for the 2003's, so naturally the most popular wheels have to go too.

I've had my Volks for a year now and the number of times I've seen Volks on the street in my hometown (minus car meets)?? Once!

They're some classic wheels, like the BBS's with the BMW crowd.

The Work S1's are starting to get popular with the Z's now too.

I like some of the Volks but everyone has them. I just dont like to have the same as everyone else.

dont worry...volks are great wheels. most of the ppl in my crew switch theirs out with new styles or swap with one another...then we end up getting new ones...and i'm pretty sure thats why there are a bunch on the market recently...

Thanks for the offer..the LE37s I currently have are 8.5/10.5, but they are off my M3 are in the BMW bolt pattern of 5x120. Unless youre planning to use them for a M3, they arent going to work..sorry.

I have LE28n waiting for my Z though

This is a little "jvanquish" but this thread gave me a crazy idea...

I wonder if any rich folks out there have a garage filled with dozens of their favorite wheels. They wake up one morning and tell their pit crew to put on whatever kicks they have the mood for.
