Well, springs are here and I'm not sure what to do... I think I'm gonna go for it and hope they can allign the car back to spec. If not oh well, I'm not spending tons of money on arms and adjustment pieces. How many z owners had to purchase extra parts and how many get away with just the springs and a good allignment? Does a roadster have different springs / allinment componets compared to a coupe???

they're Maido GR5. 9.5 front/10.5 rear. Wrap in 255x35x20/285x30x20

Front offset: +24
Rear Offset: +29

You can slap these on WITHOUT the need of droping your car. It still look ok. However, drop it will make it looks better. Here is the pic when the car before droping. As you can see, the big gap in the rear.

The front look more flush in since the profile is 35. If you use 30 profile then you will have more gap.

I'm happy with them! They sitck better then stock, but I also am now running 10.5R and 9.5F Volks! I don't hear more road noise, but they are brand spankin new! I have to admit, I don't know too much about tires, I got the Toyos because they are popular and don't cost an arm and a leg! I'm still debating on how I want to drop my Z, Tein flex vs springs! I've never tracked but love the freaking EDFC! Probably should start with springs, since if I regret it, I don't lose that much money, versus, getting teh Tein flex w/EDFC ($2100 installed) and never really pushing the Z, therefore not needing the Teins! Decisions, decisions!!!! Any opionions!?

UCLAzzz,

just Koni shock and Eibach spring. That will do the job. Half the cost.

how much alignment can you do without buying additional parts?

the volks and t1r's are going on this summer. i want to get the eibach kit, but this whole alignment thing has me thinking twice. then again, i dont want to lower the car any less then 1inch. a 1 inch drop is what i want to go with.
