255/35/18 and 375/35/18 ok for 18x9 18x10??
My main concerns are not having to roll my fenders (no rubbing issues) and not having a "stretched" look. Deep dish 18s look funny with big side walls so i wanted to use slightly shorter ones even though i know my speedo will be slightly off. I have Volk SFC 18x9+21 and 18x10+23 and just wanted to know would id be ok with everything i mentioned above running those sizes.
:edit rear size is 275/35/18 not 375:

I have Volk 19's with +22 in the rear with 275/30's. I have seen many with 35's with absolutely no problem. I have also seen 255's on the front with no rubbing issues there either. I have 245's in the front. Click on the Cardomain link below to check out pics.

Would i run into any other problems running 35 as opposed to the proper 40??I dont mind my speedo being off, but i dont want it to be safety issue such as traction control not functioning properly. Im also not sure about 245 or 255 in the front and 275 or 285 in the rear. Kinda hard to see what everyone else is doing since most people or running 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5.
BTW nice ride jokestrap

i ran a 18x10 on the rear of my 350z. used 275/40/18's.
usually people go down to 35/30 series when they go one up to 19 inch wheels. from what i have seen (dont quote me) 18's usually are 40 series.

to be honest, i kinda liked the way the tire looked. it makes them look bigger and wider. tires i have one now with my 19's look awesome. pilot sport 2's have a very big sidewall especially when comparing to falken, pirelli, nitto etc...it looks much better. seems like my tires are huge....
to each his own.
more rubber is also more protection for your rim.
