Hi guys, i'm looking into getting the Volk SF Challenge in 19". Am i right in saying that Volk can supply these rims with your choice of color for the inner part, and the polished lip as per usual? If not, i don't suppose the center section can be removed for painting?
Yeah Im pretty sure you can get them in any color that you want... However, there is a "LONG" wait... A color other than what they mass produce is automatically a special order item... I got, well Im about to get the same wheels... Looking for a reputable vendor that has them in stock is very hard...
Sorry to jack your thread Rev...
Did you order them from F1??? I called and they were already gone

I ordered mine about two weeks ago and I'll have GLOSS BLACK SF Challenges in about 3 or 4 more weeks!

off topic..I ordered a set of DB challenges 19x9.5, 19x10.5 +28 and +23...was told they would rub on my G35 coupe w/ 245/35/19 and 285/35/19 BFG TA KDW2s....can any of you guys verify this?? I know a member on this boards w/ a 350Z who has this same setup (Same offsets/sizes but different brand tires) who ran 285s in the rear and was even lowered and did NOT rub. I dunno why I am being told by 2 different shops that I will rub!
More than likely the rears WILL rub. I had the same setup before and I had to roll the rear fenders. I was told they wouldn't rub before I bought them but then found out that BFG tires have thicker sidewalls and therefore they stick out alittle more, not much, but enough to rub the fenders. Just have them shave (cut) alittle off the inner part of the fender b/c rolling might cause paint cracking. hope that helps
Yea i got the wheels from F1 motorsports. They have had the wheels in stock since december, i was surprised that no one picked those up already when i was ready to buy. I strongly suggest getting the tires mounted by them too, they do a really good job. My first set of SF challenges got messed up at another tire mounting place... forget saving a couple bucks, do it right and get it all done at F1 motorsports.
Also, the difference between diamond black and gloss black is pretty significant in person. I have had both before and i can attest that if you have a super black car, get gloss black so it matches the car.

I was gonna go for the gloss blacks, and get a deep blue pearl paint job. I recken they would go hand in hand
