I was approached by iforged to sport their new Precision Series 3 Piece wheels for 06 on my Viper. They're offering me a 19/20 combo 3" lip up front and 5" lip in the rear! I'm stuck between the "Trial" which looks like my iforged "Aero's" I have on my Z. I really like this look. If I choose the "Trial", it wont have the flutes on the spokes like in the picture. The "Variant" is similar to the "Trial" but with a twist! and the spokes flare outward towards the lip. I'm gonna go with an anthracite finish with polished lip. What do you think?

Definetly the variant. I'm not into the flutes, I think they make it too busy.

Any Idea how much they weigh?

 

 

I vote the "Trial" without the flutes. That's going to look amazing with a near 5" lip. They're more thick up top and tapered than your "Aeros". It's seems more fitting to the Viper.

The "variant" directional design is similar to a wheel that HRE made to mimmick an evolved version of some stock 911 wheels. I've seen these on Porsches so it reminds me of Porsche.

 

I would go with the Trails. Variants look like OEM porsche wheels but way more generic. Sell those Iforgeries fast before people realize they are crap!

 

I would go with the Trail's as well. The Variants are, as others have stated, a Porsche design. The Trail's would go well with the viper.

EDIT: I just saw you had a VIPER. Go with the first ones better.

 

Obviously no one will confuse his viper for a porsche. That still doesn't change the fact that the variants are VERY similar in design to Porsche wheels.

I say go with the Trials. with a 5" lip that thing is going to look sick. Once you get them make sure you post pics of your viper.

 

As of now I'm leaning towrads the Trial wheels. I spoke with iforged and the Trial wheel spokes are a tad wider thean the aero's which I have on my Z. I think it will look good on the Viper .
