SB with Gold SF Challenges
Hi guys
After an agonising 3 month wait, my Gold Volks finally arrived last week. I had them fitted yesterday and am just blown away with the color combo on my SB Anniversary and gold brembos
The reason for the long wait, i ordered them direct from Rays Japan, and they had to be manufactured. Very impressed with the quality of the wheels, there are absolutely no flaws in the paint work
The suspension i had fitted early last week as well. My goal was daily driving, so i went with the Tanabe NF210 springs and Tokico Dspec shocks. Atm theyre set at 5 turns from max hardness, and the ride is perfect. I thought the stock suspension was too harsh, and would crash over ridges/bumps in the road too easily. Gone is crash over broken tarmac, and it now has alot more bump absorption and zero bodyroll. I also threw in a cusco strut brace for looks
Tyres are the new Yoki Advan V103, 245/35 front and 275/35 rear. These tyres have absolutely no road noise on course roads, and very soft over tram/train crossings. And i no longer fear potholes
But i wasnt able to get camber back to stock spec. Its at 2.5 degrees atm, so im shopping for camber rods atm. Those ebay rods that look identical as the Stillen ones for 1/3 of the price look like a tempting buy. Has anyone used these?
Onto the pics.......

offset pic - wheels are 8.5+21 front, 9.5 +23 rear

those spacers were for the stock Anniversary wheels
