Arent you suppose to purchase something else besides just the hubcentric spacers...what if the screws arent long enough and you can't bolt the wheel on properly because you have 25mm or something around that range

That's exactly what I did and I think it looks perfect now. I had +29 on a 10.5" rear, and by adding a 5mm spacer, it is essentially 10.5" +24.

I have an '03 Track and have a two-stage goal for my wheels.

Stage 1: 15mm spacers rear, 10mm front. This brings them to within 1mm of the Nismo LMGT4 wheels' offset, which is the look I am after.

Stage 2: (when I need new tires and have more cash...) move the rear wheels up front with the 10mm spacer (will just stick out another 3mm), put 245/40-18s on them, have the front wheels widened to 9.5 or 10", put them out back with 275/40-18s and 20mm spacers. I'll essentially have Nismo rims at a tiny fraction of the cost.
I've got 265/40's on my rear Ray's & 245/40's front. They fit quite nicely without widening. I like the spacer look and think I may give it a try.

I paid like $20 or something. They are a generic brand and not hub-centric. When I talked to Chris at F1 when I originally bought my wheels, he said if you're only getting 5mm spacers, they don't need to buy hub-centric. I actually ended up buying them from Rick @ Status, and he also told me that with a 5mm spacer I didn't need to go hub-centric.

So far, no problems *knock on wood*

Yeah, I've always heard there is no need for longer studs on 5mm...

Otherwise, yes, hubcentric with longer studs are essential.

Car looks good!

Yeah, I know those will fit; I just prefer the slightly stretched look for the tires. Heck, the '06 Track has 265s stretched on 10" rims on the rear! It's only like $170 a wheel to have them widened, so when I'm ready, I'll probably just go that route.

Did you do the spacer install or did you take it to a shop? I've been thinking about adding 10mm in front and 15mm out back. I have 19's but with stock-ish offests. I want that aggressive look! I'd like to do it myself though rather than paying for the install.

Just by doing research, it looks like you have to take off the calipers, then the rotors to install the longer bolts?

I've only worked on the engines of the cars I've had, never the wheel/brakes/rotors area so I would be feeling out the install on my own...

Thanks in advance for you input!

Did you have to use longer bolts for the 5mm spacers?

No. I only used spacers because that's all that they said I needed.

No, I did the install myself, but these spacers had their own studs, so it was a bolt on affair. I've installed studs before, ghetto style. Remove caliper/rotor, tap the stud out, remove from behind, insert new one and pull in using washers and lugnut. This was on a friends altima long ago, studs are still good many years later, but I'm not sure if its this easy on the Z.

My camber is not in spec, I haven't gotten it aligned as my tires are quite worn, I'll do it when I buy a new set.

My My, those do fit nicely. I was thinking 255s in the rear to dial out a bit more understeer. With 245/40 up front and 255/40 out back the height differential is only 8mm (rear biased). It seems that VDC and ABS are only affected when there is a front bias...I mean loads of people are running even height tires without a problem, right?

Bixby, was that picture taken on stock suspenders? I don't see any springs in your sig. Thanks for the quick post! I'm planning on placing an order tomorrow.
