So I’m guessing that is not a $225 wheel from eBay.

No, I LOVE the Challenges and I'm currently planning on taking them to the Z's grave.

I was talking about next time I buy rims in general... that's all. Like whenever I get another car (was thinking about buying used NSX when I get out of grad school).

Bubble: I have always loved the CPF tunes. And they're racing hart, not RH ;P

I think the early Hiro's did that, I have had no problems with mine, I have been running then for a year... I will check them every now and then (nothing yet). Some people have problems, some don't, but im sure they will replace them, cause that's sure not your fault.

As for the CPF-Tune, if I could switch over without suffering too bad in the pocket I would, but them things are EXPENSIVE.

These are hot too... SSR Professor SP-1

Wow Richard that sucks

I think those rims look great on your car, I would just try to have them replaced. That is definitely some scary stuff. Let me know if you need anything

You know... you could always get some cash out of it and buy my Kazera's and I could get some Nismo's or SSR's... ok stop laughing at me... it was just a joke

James,

Thank you very much for your response. In a previous post on this forum you mentioned that early shipments of Hiros were unknowingly produced from a bad batch of aluminum ingot. Bearing this in mind, my entire set of wheels is faulty, and will crack, sooner or later, (and whether or not I am aware) due to manufacturing defects. For safety concerns, I am seeking to replace the my wheels with a set produced at your new plant so as to alleviate my personal safety concerns about driving on a set of wheels which you have posted here were produced improperly.

To ensure the replacements are from your new production facility, would I do best to contact Axis directly?

That's a big +1 . If one wheel was bad, what are the odds that the others AREN'T bad?

I'd guess pretty bad odds.

I hope they replace all 4 for you, man. Good luck.

I was concerned about the cracking when I ordered my silver hiro's but now that I see you post James it shows me the president of the company cares about it's customers and that is a huge plus.

James,

I just had a satisfactory conversation with Darren on the matter of the replacement wheels. He is a great guy and an asset to your company. I sincerely appreciate your attention in this matter, and look forward to doing business with Axis again in the future when I purchase another set of wheels

Thanks again,
Richard Thompson
