Default Potenza S03 vs Mich Pilot Sport vs Toyo Proxies T1?

Just wondering. I have narrowed it down to purchasing one of these three tires. Is there much difference in weight between these? Not sure if this is an intelligent question , but it would influence my decision.

Default Tire weights...

I think www.Tirerack.com has all the measurements and weights that you are looking for.... Good luck.

Okay, Sorry let me clarify. If I have for instance, my stock 18inch wheel. Will Potenza S03's weigh more than the Mich. Pilot sports or Toyo's?

Just to pick nits with you.....

All the tires you list wil be within 3-5 pounds of each other.

You are planning to put them on your OEM wheels, so it's not as if you are trying to save weight by going with some ultralight, custom wheel.

Do you really think that such a small weight difference is going to make a difference?

I can understand if you are entering some racing class and you want the lightest wheels/tires out there. But you don't mention that you need to have the lightest combination possible.

I was just using the stock wheels as an example to clarify. I am buying aftermarket wheels. Your answer of, there is only a few lbs difference is what I was looking for. Have you seen the differences somewhere that I can look at? At the tirerack website they do not list weights. I do plan on Road Racing.

I have not seen sites that list the weight of the tire.

I think the Toyo website has the weight of the tire listed. Try www.toyo.com (I think that's the site).

Try to get Luke (his extension is listed in his sig on this forum) or Eddie (ext 369) at the Tirerack to talk to you about the weights. They may have that info in some of their spec sheets.

I think you have better luck finding wheel weights! Try to go for the lightest wheel you can find and then the tire weights will be less of a concern.

Hope that helps.

Toyo.com lists their T1-S tire weights and
Bridgestone.com lists their SO-3 tire weights. Find the tire specs page.
