Default front wheel installation question

Just got the Gramlight 57S's for my 350. I was switching the front wheels and noticed there was a bolt with a spacer on the rotor(12mm head). The wheels didn't fit over this. What is this and what do you guys do with it. I can easily take it out and the wheels fit, but I do not know what this is. Tried searching but had trouble. Thank you in advance.

The bolt is to prevent putting the OEM rear wheels on the front. For aftermarket wheels yes the bolt must be removed.

It is there to keep the end user from putting the rear wheels on the front. I just removed mine. Discount tire told me that Nissan told them it would mess with the brake sytem but I do not see how.

*Edit* Way to type faster than me man.

thank you, I figured it was for something stupid, but because it was attached to the brakes I didn't want to take any chances.
